Default Need suggestions.

I've recently been playing a wierd Blood Magic bar in Alliance Battles. Nothing serious, all for the lolz. I want to improve it the best I can, but I'm mainly pointing at a Necromancer primary instead of a Mesmer primary which was what I used in Alliance Battles.

The build I used is as followed:

[blood bond][vampiric spirit][strip enchantment][enfeeble][diversion][cry of frustration][power leak][wastrel's worry]
11 Blood Magic
8+1 Fast Casting
10+1+1 Domination Magic

Now, this was only the bar I was using for Alliance Battles. Nothing serious, just a little fun with supporting the party and shutting both melee and casters down while dealing moderate damage at the same time. In a more PvE based enviorement, I would take Order of Pain and Dark Fury aswell, and would probably be using a Necromancer primary.

Basically it's nothing but a fun build for use when you're not playing seriously, but I'd like to keep the two skills Blood Bond and Vampiric Spirit and find something as effective as possible while maintaining at least 11 Blood Magic.

Edit: Oh, and both of the skill icons are almost exactly the same! These were made for each other!!

Looks a little harsh on energy for a mesmer, the only thing i'd do differently with that is put in power drain or leech signet with 3-4 in inspiration instead of power leak. Or you could always go N/Me, cause lots of deaths = lots of energy. Actually the only thing you have on there that really benefits from fast casting is diversion.

Mehhh the only reason I ran it on my Mesmer was because I like seeing my Mesmer cast everything in super speed, and to be quite honest with you I didn't have any energy problems.

I agree it will probably be more effective on a Necromancer though.

Because I want to slightly support the party with super awesome health regeneration.

Or... I just want to run a Blood Magic bar that supports offensively and defensively.

Okay, so I tried this in AB on a Necromancer primary with the following build:

[vampiric spirit][blood bond][bull's strike][plague sending][shield bash][enfeeble][foul feast][strip enchantment]
12+1+1 Blood Magic
12+1 Soul Reaping
3+1 Curses

The weapons I used were a 40/20/20 Blood Magic staff, defensive set with a heavy spear for longer Enfeeble duration and a defensive set using a sword, for Bull's Strike.

It's fun to toy with.

I would take D-Shot but I can't have three professions.

I like my Shield Bash, it always gets that smart-arse 'Sin who thinks he can spike me down but every time he tries he gets his off-hand or lead Shield Bash'd.

Oh, and Bull's Strike is just cool. I run it on all professions if I have the ability to do so.

Tyla, i think you might need to focus on more of a specific ideal rather than utilizing the most meta skills. SB is great, but BS isnt really.. anything on that bar. hell, you'd be better off taking bonnettis or something.

oh, and im still not buying blood bond

As I said, it's a pissabout bar. I'm never, ever going to seriously consider Blood Bond with Vampiric Spirit to fuel it, nor am I going to seriously consider Bull's Strike on a caster bar.

C'mon Tyla - you posted the bar - have a little faith in yourself. I'd bet some of the best skillbars out there were met with some negative replies when they were first posted. That said, I like the combo of [[Vampiric Spirit] and [[Blood Bond] it seems like a cheap way to add support to your team - and as you said, sometimes you just like to play around and use a Blood line elite. Everyone wants to find a good reason to invest in Blood - it's such an unused attribute in team play.

You need way more DPS, try this:

[Eviscerate][Executioner's Strike][Disrupting Chop][Bull's Strike][Frenzy][Rush][Vampiric Touch][Vampiric Gaze]

I call it.....the Dark Chopper....cause it's a necro, and he chops.
